COVID19 SAFETY MEASURES AND PROCEDURES FOR VANCUT CLIENTS

As we have implemented many measures to make our interactions at the salon as safe as possible, your next visit will feel different and will be based on some new expectations. It is important that you read the list below and familiarize yourself with these measures. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Please wear a mask to your appointment. If you present without a mask, we can provide you one for $2 to keep your appointment. Similarly, your stylist will be wearing a mask, face shield, and gloves.

If you experience any COVID related symptoms, including fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, diarrhea, chills, or muscle aches and pains, please do not come in the salon. Kindly notify us via text message (778-231-2707) and we will be glad to reschedule your appointment. Similarly, if we feel any of the mentioned symptoms, we will reschedule appointments as well.

Your temperature will be checked at the front door using a contactless infrared thermometer.

There will be no waiting area inside the salon. Please remain outside/in your car to be called/texted in for your appointment.

Please use the hand sanitizer by the entrance door before entering the styling stations area or touching other surfaces. Similarly, we will sanitize each styling station and all tools between clients.

To avoid blow-drying (tolling when repeated with a mask on) and close contact as much as possible, we ask that you wash your hair before coming to your appointment. Similarly, we will not accept shampooing and blow-dry intensive services and threading services at this time.

Please do not bring additional people with you to your appointment unless you require assistance. We may ask any additional guests to wait outside.

We will be scheduling for one client per appointment time and have extended each appointment time to ensure no overlap and enough time for cleaning. If more than one stylist is scheduled, no two clients will be seated next to each other.

Implementing COVID19 safety measures require a great ongoing investment. Expanding the duration of each appointment block to accommodate for stringent cleaning also means that we cannot book as many people and there is much more work that we need to do for each appointment. Because of all these reasons, to maintain our operations we have had to make minor adjustments to our price list. You will notice that for some services the price has been increased to accommodate for these changes.

We currently do not accept walk-ins. Since we schedule clients in blocks with intermittent rest times between, we ask that you schedule your next appointment at the end of your visit to reserve a convenient time and avoid long wait times.

As we will not be serving coffee and other drinks at this time, please bring your own water bottle or beverage cup.

There will be no garbage bins in the salon. If you need to discard any garbage please use the one outside either before or after your appointment
